Lemon water as a drink has the most amazing health benefits. One of our daily routines upon rising and before going to sleep is to drink a warm refreshing lemon water. This drink not only gives a sense of well being but also helps the body to detoxify and cleanse vital organs for proper function.
Lemons are high in vitamin C which can help the body fight off infections while also cleansing the blood. Lemon can also assist with digestive issues and is a great way of cleansing the colon.
How to make your daily drink of lemon water
Half a fresh lemon
1 Cup of warm or room temperature water (filtered)
Squeeze the lemon into the water, stir and enjoy
You can add fresh honey (unprocessed) for a sweeter option
