Blissful Sunday Mornings
How you start your day sets you up for what’s to come. Sundays are my day for rest, relaxation and selflove as well as spending time with the ones I love most. They are a day for feeding my soul. I love to start my days with a meditation or bit of a stretch but Sundays call for a bit of everything. This morning I got up did some yoga, meditated, expressed gratitude and did something for me, I love treating my skin, so a lovely oil face massage. I then made a fresh juice and enjoyed some sunshine. I then made a delicious smoothie bowl (about an hour after my juice)
Check out our recipe below 👇🏼 Tropical smoothie bowl with Granola serves 2
To make this; Juice 1/2 pineapple around 300mls 1 cup of frozen chopped mango 1 cup of frozen chopped banana Blend together in your processor or thermomix Top with your choice of fruit... I used apple, mango, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, passion fruit and our home made granola. GRANOLA Preheat oven to 180oC 3/4 cup of gluten free quick oats 3/4 cup of shredded coconut 3/4 cup of dried cranberries 1/2 cup of mixed crushed nuts (I use a mix of macadamia and almonds) 2 tablespoons of coconut sugar 2 tablespoons of chia seeds 1/3 cup of coconut oil 1/3 cup of pure maple syrup Combine all dry ingredients first then add the wet and stir until mixed through. Spread out on a lined baking tray and place in oven for 10-20 minutes until it starts to turn a beautiful golden brown, stir half way through. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Store in a glass jar or sealed container use within 2-4 weeks (if it lasts that long)
I love using my coconut bowls as a reminder to always prepare food with love and to eat with gratitude 🙏🏼 Hope you enjoy, remember to share the love by sharing our post with your friends and family. Love Me (Jess) X
